46 Miles to Cannes

Jordan LeighDenver Filmmakers, Cinema Geeks Productions, have been making international waves recently with the success of their short film 46 Miles.

Starring DBT's Jordan Leigh, the film took home Best Film, Best Acting and Best Writing honors in the Denver 48 hour film prject. (The 48H Film Project is a series of city competitions that happens across the United States and around the world. All creativity must take place during the "Official 48 Hour Time Period". This is includes but isn't limited to writing the script, costume/set Design, shooting, editing, sound design, rendering, and outputting.) This win enabled them to compete with over 80 cities around the world at the Miami International Film Festival's 2011 Filmapalooza where they took Best Film 1st Runner-Up and Best Writing. This success won them the honor of having their film screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2011 where it received much acclaim.

Jordan Leigh currently stars in the DCPA's Garner Galleria Theatre's hit musical Five Course Love with fellow DBT actor Daniel Langhoff.

In addition to the amazing accolades he's receiving as a theatre actor and an indy film actor, Jordan is of the finnest voice over actors gracing our market (and many others) these days.
